Laura Gelfand is a Professor of Art History at Utah State University in the Department of Art + Design. Informed by art historical methods, Laura Gelfand’s current research engages the vibrant, interdisciplinary world of animal studies with a particular focus on canids. She is co-editor of the book, Punk and the Animal: Ethos, Ethics, Aesthetics that will by published later this year.


Tammy M. Proctor is Distinguished Professor of History and Interim Director of the Heravi Peace Institute at Utah State University. Proctor is an expert in the history of international Scouting, and her published works include Scouting for Girls: A Century of Girl Guidesand Girl Scouts, and On My Honour: Guides and Scouts in Interwar Britain. In 2024, she was honored with the Hillcourt Silver Medal for Scout history.
